In Bafatá, Guiné-Bissau, Canjajá Mané, an old cinema operator and guard of the city club, repeats the same routine for 50 years. But nowadays the cinema is closed and there are no viewers. From his days as worker for the club until now, only memories are left. In the city, only rocks, trees and the river have survived the test of time. With them, some people who stayed to eternalize in the memory of the world, the men, that someone live there once. Those are the people that Canjajá looks for and awaits patiently till today.
