SYNOPSIS

This documentary is the result of 15 years of filming by the late Pedro Aguilar, who trained in Fine Arts and develops his work in curating. During this period, he established a relationship of growing complicity with fisherman António Escaleira. In a solitary process with enormous commitment and passion, he documented the fishing arts, the trips to the tide, the crafts, and the daily life of this man in the town of Azenha do Mar. The intersection of the gaze of a man from the city on a man of the sea who inhabits a fishing village narrates, above all, the story of a great friendship between two probably unlikely friends.
