SYNOPSIS
Sharing the name of Fernão Mendes Pinto's work, the itinerant staging of Peregrinação, organized by the theater group O Bando, amplified the same imaginative spirit found in the famous chronicles of 16th-century expeditions at the Expo '98 site. Insinuating itself through the extravagance of its scenic apparatus, the spectacular steampunk-style parade reinterpreted the past while fictionalizing the future.
