In the village of Santa Catarina, in the Alto Alentejo region, in 1976, local people discuss their lives, values, and needs. A group of filmmakers from the Grupo Zero cooperative records these moments, with a particular interest in the literacy course. A month and a half after the first shoots, the collective organizes a cinema session for the village inhabitants, promoting a debate about the film that was in production. This film documents that cinema, beyond being an observer, was also an active agent of the revolution itself.
