SYNOPSIS
Lisbon. The houses we observe as we walk through the streets seem empty, but they're not. Inhabited by the elderly who gradually lose contact with the streets, these interiors form a reverse side of the city. Lisbon is no longer a map shaped by buildings and avenues to become a city made of adversity, habits and memories.
Lisbon's Under Arrest is the inside portrait of a city, told in seven voices, where façades turn into faces and distance is measured in steps. Where life insists on its richness and claims a place beyond statistics and charity. We look at the future and it gives back the time that will pass.
