Hundreds of men and children walk for a week, lined up along the roads and trails of São Miguel Island, in the Azores—a sacred place where nature and faith converge. Moved by faith and brotherhood, they pray for themselves, for their loved ones, and for those they meet along the way. They carry over 300 kilometers in their feet and just as much exhaustion, tears, joy, and hope. A unique ritual of faith and sharing that has taken place for over 500 years.
