SYNOPSIS

“Ancient Music Accompanies Ancient Wine.” A glass of wine, the scent of clay, the cante.
Decante travels to the origins of talha (amphora) wine in Georgia, crossing the Mediterranean on Bacchus's hitchhike until reaching the Alentejo. Along the way, choral groups and anonymous bohemians gather at the table to share their voices and memories, much like in the Cante Alentejano, while crafting rare artisanal wine. Wine as a “living being” and the stories that unite peoples, through song and an ancient, slow-paced rhythm.
