A live recording of the concert by Irmãos Catita and their guests at the Ritz Club in 1996, Very Sentimental Show. Featuring extra performances: Cinearte 1993, and Coimbra's Queima das Fitas 1994.
The roots of the "Catita" spirit are lost in the mists of time.
Scattered like bidets across the globe from their center of balance, somewhere in the elevator of the Grande Hotel da Curia, and raised by "Stepmothers" (a species of pseudo-religious educators found throughout the Christian world whose primary pedagogical tool is the whip), they were stars from a very young age in the various orphanages they passed through: from French Polynesia to the Republic of San Marino, by way of Casa Pia and various holiday camps of the then "Estado Novo" (New State), now the "Estado Velho" (Old State).
